From The Pastor

NelsonThe mission of our church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. At Simpsonville UMC we are proud of our history of making disciples in Southern Greenville County, and are looking forward to being a ministry presence here for many years to come! We take seriously our name and remember how John Wesley went outside the church walls, and into the fields to minister to the people of England.
We work hard to follow Wesley’s example!

Simpsonville United Methodist Church has stood in the heart of downtown Simpsonville for almost a hundred years. In that time the neighborhood, the city, and the world have all changed around us. But our calling remains the same: to worship God, to be Disciples of Jesus, The Christ, and to serve others.

The people of Simpsonville UMC are caring and passionate about following the example of Jesus. This passion is reflected in the vibrant missions and ministries that serve our members and embrace the needs of our community.

Simpsonville United Methodist Church is about people: the people we serve, the people we are, and the people we strive to be. It is my privilege to invite you to get to know us and be a part of this wonderful congregation. You’ll find a diverse group of individuals with a common greeting: "Welcome”.
