Weekly Bible Studies
We offer a few Bible Studies other than Wednesday night.
Men's Bible Study
Men of all ages meet every Monday night at 7-8:30 in room CLC-054.
The group is currently making its way through the Gospel of Matthew. The evening begins with a time of sharing and prayer before digging into the scripture selection for the week.
This group finds study and fellowship a fulfillment for their busy lives as they study the Word of God and relate it to everyday living.
Led by Ken Knox & Clayton Easter.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
All are welcome to gather Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am with Pastor Michelle for Bible study and fellowship in the office area room O-17.
September 5th, we’ll begin the study “What’s Your Story: Seeing Your Life through God’s Eyes” by Sarah Heath.
Joseph’s story really began when he saw his story as part of God’s story. His great accomplishments came only after he recognized the significance of what he had done and what God was doing through him. In exploring Joseph’s life (Genesis 37–50), we’ll discover how to see our lives through God’s eyes and learn how to co-create a real page-turning story of our own. What’s Your Story? is a four-session, small-group study that features opportunities and space for creative journaling. Each weekly session is complemented by a DVD to help us explore the dimensions of the Joseph story to spark further reflection and discussion. Books are $8. Please sign up online to email Pastor Michelle at email@example.com by August 21st so books will arrive in time to distribute the week before class.
