About Us

SUMC can make a difference for families in our area with critical unmet housing needs. We need your help during this one week to provide the necessary labor to realize this goal. During this week there will be demolition, building construction, installation and clean-up.  We work on houses in the Columbia area that were severely damaged from the flooding.  

We seek to give the home owners back their peace and security and fill them with hope.

How can I help?

In August we will work from 8 AM – 5 PM each day until the project is completed. Monday will begin with a breakfast and a sending forth that begins at 7 AM at the church. Lunches will be served everyday on site.

This local mission project is opened to youth 14 years and older, and to all adults.  Sign-up online or turn in the signup on the brochure. You can sign-up to work for one day, or all five days. We will work with your schedule.
