Church Orchestra From time to time throughout the year we use more than just brass and bells to accompany our choirs and congregation. At those special times, we form a church orchestra. All orchestra instruments are needed and we open these positions to anyone willing to participate, providing they have an instrument and knowledge thereof. CROSS FIRE CROSSFIRE is an established praise band that leads the Alternative Worship Service every Sunday in the gym at 11:00 am. The 7-member band plays contemporary worship music in a more relaxed setting. For more information, contact Karen Smith at the church. RINGING GROUPS Handbell and choir chime ringing is an area of music ministry both fun and informative. Classes meet September through May. Beginning ringers and experienced ringers are all included in these groups. Practice Times are established with the formation of each group. SUNDAY RINGERS Participates in festivals, performs in church, plays for weddings, and performs for other special occasions outside the church. This is an established group of experienced ringers. Positions are available from time to time due to the changing schedules of present ringers. TUESDAY BELLS Is a group of experience ringers in a two octave setting. Positions become available from time to time. HANDBELLS 101 Is a beginning class for learning to ring handbells. A class is formed when eight interested adults sign up. JUNIOR HANDBELLS Is for children who have rung choir chimes for one year or who have had previous ringing experience. CHOIR CHIMES (Grade 3 and up) teaches basic fundamentals and ringing techniques.
