Sponsored by SUMC Mission Team to assist homebound and older members of our congregation with minor home repairs or yard work.
Everyone young and old has a part to play in this mission project. No special skills are required.
Some people need help cleaning their homes, while other homes need to be repaired or painted. Sometimes, the more important mission is to just be there for companionship and fellowship. There is also a need for childcare for volunteers.
Bigger and Better
Last year more than 50 volunteers gave of their time to assist the members of our congregation who needed it the most. Let’s make the 2010 Mission Possible! bigger and better. Please help strengthen our congregation by giving time to this rewarding mission.
We are in search of people to do the following:
- Painting (interior/exterior)
- Weeding/Pruning
-
Raking
- Minor Home Repair
- Mowing
- “Spring Cleaning”
- Organizing
- Child Care (for the volunteers)
- and much more...
