Mission/Purpose: To reach out to all (congregation /community) to provide food for the body and spirit by establishing an exciting Christ-centered environment through a variety of programs and opportunities for all ages.

Programs and the Suppers resume on Wednesday, September 7.
Meals cost for Wednesday nights, are $5.50 for Adults,
$3.50 for Children ages 4-10,
Children under 3—free
Walkins without a reservation, add $1
Supper reservations must be made by
Monday noon, prior to the Wednesday night, by calling the Church Office, 967-3071
or go to the ONLINE REGISTRATION tab (ABOVE) and sign up today!

Suppers will be catered this year so we MUST have your reservation by Monday Noon in order to insure adequate quantities. Suppers NEW this year will be a choice of two entrees, three vegetables, bread, dessert and beverage

ADULT WEDNESDAY PROGRAMS

(Scholarships for Wednesday Night Live! classes are available if needed)

MAKING LOVE LAST A LIFETIME - September 7 – November 2 – 6:30 – 7:30 PM. This video-based (Adam Hamilton) small-group study explores love, marriage, and sexuality from a biblical perspective. Participants understand God’s plan and purpose for love relationships of husband and wife and for the covenant of marriage; it offers real help and hope for achieving the kind of relationship God intends for every couple. Appropriate for married couples of all ages and stages; as well as for singles preparing for marriage or simply desire to look at biblical perspectives on human sexuality and relationships. Facilitators: Anne & Rodney Cummings. Book cost per couple: $12.

FIRST PLACE 4-HEALTH – September 7 – November 16 – 6:15-7:30 PM. This study helps you recognize areas of your life out of balance so you can regain you equilibrium. Through daily study and prayer, you will discover how to center your life on Christ. Lasting change from the inside out begins when we seek God first! Weight management if also a part of this study. Facilitator: Jen Johnson. Book cost: $14.

DAVID: SEEKING A HEART LIKE HIS – September 7 – November 16 – 6:15-8:00 PM. Beth Moore Study. God never gives up on you. This study examines the “man after God’s own heart.” David will delight and disappoint you. You are like him at times. If you’ve ever experienced doubts, temptations, losses, family problems, or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you. Facilitator: Heidi Emerson. Book cost: $15. (Indicate if you need child care after 7:30 PM)

CONTAGIOUS CHRISTIAN – September 21 – November 2 – 6:15 – 7:30 PM. Evangelism doesn't have to be frustrating or intimidating. Effectively communicating our faith in Christ should be the most natural thing in the world. We just need encouragement and direction. Based on the words of Jesus and flowing from firsthand experiences, Becoming a Contagious Christian is a personalized approach to relational evangelism. Facilitator: Clayton Easter. Book Cost: $8.

WHAT’S THE LEAST I CAN BELIEVE AND STILL BE A CHRISTIAN?: WHAT MATTERS MOST – September 7 – October 5 – 6:30- 7:30 PM. We will cover the basic ABC’s of Christian belief, but it far more than a set of beliefs. At the heart, Christianity is a way of life. What are ten things Christians don’t need to believe, and ten things they most definitely need to believe. Facilitator: Rev. Pat Gannaway. Book Cost: $10.

THE BIBLE: AN OVERVIEW – October 12 – November 16– 6:30 – 7:30 PM. Get acquainted with the Bible in a short period of time! This Bible overview will look at how the Bible came to be (the cannon) and when, where and why the Bible is what it is today. Plus some biblical background information will be provided about the Old and New Testament books of the Bible. Facilitator: Rev. Nelson Stokes.
